Application Management
In NetAlter, application management is seamless and easily managed as the
NetAlter framework offers an integrated product delivery, registration and
support model. Complete metadata information on the developer of the application
and the service provider is maintained making it easy to clearly define
ownership.
SOA based Architecture
The SOA based architecture provides for easy scalability and data
integration with the business rules and logical infrastructure of applications
and services. Each application or service has a product and package tag, similar
to digital certificates presently used but more secured and enforceable. Without
this tag, the application or service will fail to function on the NetAlter
network.
Service and Application Security
In a case malicious code or application is detected anywhere by any user, on
providing information and subsequent validation, NetAlter has to simply disable
the application's product or package id by publishing a security update to the
NetAlter browser and it will cease to function across the network. Whenever a
user starts the NetAlter browser, it automatically applies the security update.
This does away the need to install anti-virus or other security tools to clean
an infected computing device.
Service and Application Upgrading
Application developers and service providers can provide updates and
upgrades seamlessly to their applications and services from time to time. For
this they would use the multi role browser functionality to apply the patch
worldwide. The notification of the updates or upgrades is automatically routed
to end users via the NetAlter browser and the same can be applied.
Minimum Infrastructure
Application and Service Deployment in NetAlter thus requires the minimum of
infrastructure and technical support. NetAlter also provides an integrated
communication interface to handle customer queries and responses.
